This watercolor study captures the unique presence of L’Antipode, a ship on Canal de l’Ourcq in Paris, contrasting beautifully against the calm surroundings of the canal, park, and nearby buildings. The gentle balance between the ship and its environment intrigued me, and I aimed to bring out that quiet juxtaposition on Arches Rough 300g paper. It’s a piece that reflects the stillness and understated vibrancy of Parisian life along the water.
2024 – Paris
This watercolor painting of Le Buci captures the vibrancy of a bustling Paris street corner on a Saturday afternoon, full of pedestrians and life. This spot has always been special to me, as it marked the last stretch of my walk to university and, at the end of each day, the beginning of my journey back home. Through this piece, I wanted to bring out the energy, familiarity, and personal memories that make this place so meaningful.
2024 – Paris
This watercolor depicts two kite-surfers at Kahuna Surf House in Larnaca, Cyprus, their vibrant kites creating a striking contrast against the light blue sky and sea. The pale rocks in the foreground add depth to the scene, embodying the essence of a perfect day on the water. I aimed to capture the thrill and energy of kite-surfing, celebrating the beauty of this coastal paradise.
2024 – Mazotos
This watercolor captures the imposing Kalemegdan fortifications viewed from below, showcasing the strength and grandeur of the stone structure against the sky. Without the arches, the focus shifts to the solid walls and their historical significance. I aimed to evoke a sense of awe and reflection on the rich history that these fortifications represent, standing tall as a guardian of Belgrade’s past.
2023 – Belgrade
This watercolor depicts the Delfin ship in broad daylight, seen from the deck of Jaram in Belgrade. The painting captures the ship’s elegant presence on the water, highlighting its details under the bright sun. I wanted to convey the calmness of the scene, reflecting the beauty of the ship as it glides through the serene waters of the Danube, framed by the vibrant life surrounding it.

This watercolor captures the enchanting scene of the Borovets ski slope in Bulgaria, where the fog gently envelops the mountaintop. As the fog lifts, trees slowly emerge and take shape toward the foreground, creating a sense of mystery and tranquility. Through this piece, I wanted to convey the serene beauty of the landscape, highlighting the delicate interplay between the ethereal fog and the rugged mountainscape.

This watercolor captures Belgrade’s beloved red tram traveling down Boulevard Kralja Alexandra. The tram’s vivid red hue stands out boldly against the pale tones of the surrounding cityscape, adding a splash of color to the soft urban setting. I wanted to emphasize the tram’s iconic presence within Belgrade’s streets, reflecting its charm as both a vibrant symbol and part of daily life.
